The Children’s Advent Printable Journal contains 25 Bible Verses that tell the story of Jesus’ birth as well as front and back covers. Our hope is that, as you read and write these verses together with your child(ren), this journal will help you focus on the gift of Christ in the midst of your Christmas preparation.

We want to encourage parents and grandparents to pass on traditions that celebrate the anticipation of Jesus’ birth.

Each day has:

- a verse (from the Easy to Read Version) for you to read together,

- a fill in the blank where your child will write keywords from the verse,

- and a blank page for them to use any way they would like.

- You may want to encourage them to read the verse aloud several times and then try to fill in the blanks from memory.

- On the blank page they might want to illustrate the verse or write the verse again in their own words.

- Older children may choose to journal about what the verse means to them.

- You may also want to encourage your child to record special memories that happen throughout the month of December - school programs, church events, parties, family get-togethers and any special traditions that your family has. We have included blank pages in the back of the journal for this purpose as well.

You are welcome to make as many copies of this journal for your own family as you like. If you would like to make copies for a group or church, please purchase the church / corporate version.
