You have the Bible Study Binder Bundle journals. You want to study God’s Word on your own. But when you sit down, it’s hard to know where to start or what to do next.
This plan takes the guesswork out. Each day tells you exactly which of your binder journals to open and what to focus on, so you can spend your time in Scripture instead of figuring out a system. By the end, you’ll have worked through the entire book of Ruth, chapter by chapter, and built a record of what God showed you along the way.
Why Ruth?
Ruth is a short book with a big story. Set during the dark days of the judges, it follows two widows through grief, loss, and uncertainty, and shows how God was quietly at work the whole time. It's a story of loyal love, unexpected provision, and a redeemer who points ahead to Jesus. Ruth's words to Naomi still move us today: "Where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God" (Ruth 1:16). This study will help you see God's faithfulness in Ruth's story and in your own.

Week 1: The Big Picture. Start with the Books of the Bible Journal to learn the context of Ruth before diving in.

Chapter Study. For each chapter, you’ll spend three days in the Chapter Mapping Journal: summarizing each section, exploring context and notes, and reflecting on God’s attributes and life application.

Going Deeper. Each chapter closes with one day in the Verse Mapping Journal and one day in the Keyword Study Journal.

Wrap-Up. A final day to read, reflect on what you’ve learned, and plan your next study.
